AbstractThe concept of ownership which has been the focus of attention by scholars and business managers has three different dimensions. These are legal-economic, psychological and social ownership. This research is mainly concerned with psychological ownership that can be stated as a question “How much do I feel this organization is mine?” This can be the most congenial for family and paradoxically the most repellent question for non-family members in a family business. In family businesses, there are two different groups as the family members and the non-family members.
