AbstractThis article covers the area of knowledge at the intersection of two disciplines: archeology and art history, based on archaeological evidence, which carries the information of the traditional culture of the early medieval population of Kazakhstan. Summarized the accumulated material in the image of a horse in the early medieval rock art found in Kazakhstan and chronological, stylistic and compositional originality of the image are considered.
