AbstractArterial injury after arthroscopic surgery remains a rare, but devastating, complication. We describe the case of a 28-year-old male patient who presented with a popliteal artery pseudoaneurysm 8 days after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with symptoms of a delayed onset of painful calf swelling and compartment syndrome. Subsequent investigations and findings during surgery confirmed a punctured popliteal artery which had resulted in a leaking pseudoaneurysm
