The philosophy and practice of Conductive Education is explored and the application of some of these principles to a residential/educational setting is investigated. Special attention is given to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the existing service delivery for a group of twelve moderately to severely physically and intellectually disabled children aged between three and six years.Results obtained from evaluation of the task series are related to the child's ability to initiate movement and suggest improvement over time.
