AbstractThis paper attempts to evaluate the importance of relationships and networks for the firms studied, and more specific, how important networks are for knowledge transfer. The sources of knowledge are either internal (in-house R&D) or external (competitors, universities etc.). These sources can support knowledge-based entrepreneurship (KBE from now on) and help entrepreneurs to explore new business opportunities
