AbstractOn the basis of using RegCM regional climate models and with the data of 10km horizontal resolution to perform numerical simulation in subtropical region of China for 20 years, the author makes a conclusion that: Compared with the global model, regional model provides a more detailed temperature and precipitation in the spatial distribution of information. There exists an apparent performance of the phenomenon of “Warm Nest in the southern part of both Hunan and Jiangxi in the simulation process, reproducing the basic features of the climate of those regions
