AbstractThis paper presents the method for sun-tracking system by using solar position algorithm as described in [1]. By using this algorithm, the simulation results were conducted by evaluating and modifying the source codes with local parameters entered in the program. From the simulation results, the zenith and azimuth angle of the sun over a whole year (from January to December 2012) can be estimated. By incorporated with Control Area Network (CAN) communication systems, many Photovoltaic (PV) panel modules can be controlled remotely by a single computer— which is significant for larger PV Panel Systems scenario
