AbstractFineness is one of the key factors in determining the hydration activity factor of slag. The present research investigates the effect of particle size distribution (PSD) of slag on water requirement, setting time, and compressive strength. For this purpose, a reference and 17 cement samples containing different blast furnace slag are made and the properties are tested. When slags with proper PSD are prepared the cement properties can be better than the reference
