AbstractIn this note we introduce and study a new general strongly quasivariational inequality problem which includes, as special cases, a number of known classes of variational inequalities studied previously by many authors in this field. A general and unified iterative algorithm for finding the approximate solution to this problem is constructed by the projection method. We prove the existence of the solution for this problem and the convergence of the iterative sequence generated by this algorithm
