AbstractFinsler metrics of sectional flag curvature is studied in this paper. It is proved that every weakly Landsberg space with nonzero sectional flag curvature and every closed Finsler space with negative sectional flag curvature must be Riemannian if the dimension ⩽7. We also obtain some pinching results in all dimensions
