AbstractThe specialty of cardiothoracic surgery should be one of constant innovation. Albert Einstein was a man of vision who said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” With most technology expected to be obsolete in 5-7 years, thoracic surgeons need to draw from their imaginations to find innovative surgical solutions for the future.
