AbstractTeaching with knowledge of students’ thinking and learning styles increases its effectiveness. The YBRAINS test is developed to help school teachers to understand the thinking and learning readiness levels of their students in the process of providing effective teaching and learning activities. The test was established based on theories and brain experiment research evidences. This article reports the rationale of establishing the test and its validity and reliability
