Desorption electrospray ionization (DESI) mass spectrometry was evaluated for the characterization of glycerophospholipid standards, including glycerophosphocholine (GPCho), glycerophosphoglycerol (GPGro), glycerophosphoethanolamine (GPEtn), glycerophosphoserine (GPSer), glycerophosphoinositol (GPIns), cardiolipin (CL), and sphingolipid standards, including sulfatides (ST) and sphingomyelin (SM).
