AbstractThe present paper discusses the concept of educational policy, its levels and stages of implementation. We argue that the national educational policies should be characterized by consistency, coherence and continuity at all the levels of its development. We focused on the impact the educational policies have on the initial and continuing teacher training field. The opinions of students in Educational sciences and future teachers were analysed in a qualitative approach
