AbstractStrong employee engagement correlates to strong employee performance. As employee engagement is an ongoing process, this study aims to assess the level of employee engagement in a multinational company involved in food and beverage related activities, with two manufacturing facilities and an administration centre in Malaysia. Specifically, its objective is to assess whether engagement levels have improved or not, i.e., whether basic needs, management support, teamwork and growth levels for 2011 is higher than those for 2010.
