AbstractThe author, who is Secretary of the Analog Section of the British Computer Society, describes the way in which some of the logic components of a parallel logic analog computer function, and goes on to discuss the use of such a computer in optimization problems, as for instance in finding the best estimates of the parameters on compartmentation analysis of isotopic tracer experiments.
