AbstractIn this paper, calibration method for force transducers on dynamic force condition with or without the levitation mass method (LMM) is reviewed. At first, a brief review of the LMM is described. Secondly, a correction method for force transducer in dynamic force measurement using the LMM is introduced. Finally, the self-correction method for force transducer is shown with results. The most of the dynamic error of an S-shaped strain gauge transducer is effect of inertial mass of the transducer. By using the LMM, the relations between the dynamic error and transducer's output are investigated and a correction parameter is calculated.
