AbstractA study of the oxygen requirements of the rat liver microsomal vitamin K-dependent carboxylase and vitamin K 2,3-epoxidase indicated that both enzymes had a Km for O2 in the range 60–80 μM. This value was not influenced by vitamin concentration, alterations in carboxylase substrate, Mn2+, or dithiothreitol, and is consistent with the hypothesis that both activities are catalyzed by the same enzyme
