AbstractThe article proposes equations for the problem of bending circular symmetrically loaded flexible plate in creep. The problem was reduced to a system of two nonlinear differential equations. This system was solved using the successive approximations method in combination with the method of finite differences. The calculations were performed numerically in Matlab software package. Maxwell-Gurevich physical law was used as an equation, establishing the connection between stresses and creep strains. The results obtained with the geometric nonlinearity and while neglecting it were compared. The calculation of the plates on the geometrically linear theory leads to overestimate deflections.
