AbstractThis paper presents the results of an experimental study of the Cu(II) adsorption process from synthetic solutions. A polymer generated from toluene-di-isocyanate and polyamine (TDI-LFG) was used to adsorb Cu(II) ions. Experimental studies were carried out to determine effects of changing conditions on Cu(II) ion adsorption by the TDI- LFG polymer at varying initial Cu(II) concentrations, polymer dose, pH and contact time. The equilibrium time of the adsorption process was found to be 120minutes and the optimum pH value was determined to be 6
