AbstractThis paper presents the synthesis of CdO nanocomposites in chemical precipitation method. This article reports the formation of different morphologies of CdO nanocomposites with Polyethylene glycol (PEG) surfactant. This technique emphasizes the less consumption of time for synthesizing nano powder with smaller particle size. This route for preparing CdO is simple and cost-effective method. CdO nanocomposites were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform- infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), TEM measurements, Scanning electron microscope (SEM), Energy dispersive spectrum (EDS) and Electrical resistance.
