AbstractThere is no available instrument which determines teacher candidates’ competences of web based collaborative learning. Our study has provided findings about teacher perceptions in Cyprus. This article describes the development, testing and application of a suitable instrument. Research data for the tests of reliability and validity was obtained from a sample of 300 teacher candidates from the education faculty of Near East University in 2010.
