Accurate knowledge of the alpha-particle emission probabilities is of high importance for the quantitative determination of 226Ra in Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM) waste. In this work the three major alpha-particle emission probabilities have been determined by means of high-resolution alpha-particle spectrometry in the radionuclide metrology laboratories of CIEMAT, LNHB and JRC-Geel.JRC.G.2-Standards for Nuclear Safety, Security and Safeguar
