In design and manufacturing applications, users of computer aided design systems are very often interested in knowing the range of values for some dimensions that define the object under design. This work reports on a technique developed to allow a class of constructive geometric constraint solvers to determine the feasible ranges of values of a given symbolic geometric constraint when values for all the remaining constraints have been fixed.
