The genetic basis of high-grade gliomas (HGGs) remains a topic of great interest due to their prevalence and resistance to common cancer therapies. Recent advances in DNA sequencing technology have helped uncover a number of intriguing somatic mutations in glioblastoma (GBM), an astrocytic subtype of HGGs. It is unclear however, how these mutations interact with one another and how they are related to tumour phenotype.
