Na dva genotipa pilića, Avian 24 K i Avian 34 K obavljena su istraživanja kapaciteta rasta i kakvoće trupova u dobi od 42 dana. Na ukupno 100 pilića, istražene su stope rasta (SP) i relativni rast (RP). Procjena pojedinih faza rasta obavljena je pomoću asimetrične S-funkcije. Utvrđene točke infleksije T za Avian 24 K (4,49,1480) i za Avian 34 K (4,74,1480) pokazuju specifično reagiranje genotipova pilića u istim uvjetima hranidbe i smještaja. Utvrđeno je da genetska osnova statistički značajno (P <0,05) utječe na fenotipsko očitovanje živih i zaklanih masa u tovu pilića do 42 dana. Poredbenim prikazom kakvoće trupova potvrđena je bolja prikladnost za proizvodnju mesa brojlera Avian 24 K u odnosu na brojlere Avian 34 K, jer su razlike u očit...
