In the older floristic literature referring to Croatia, four species of the genus Corydalis Vent. sect. Corydalis, namely C. capnoides C. lutea, C. ochroleuca and C. acaulis are listed for the flora of Croatia. Recently, it has been found that there are only two species, C. ochroleuca and C. acaulis, in Croatian flora.
