AbstractPriority scheduling principle plays a crucial role in the Differentiated Services (DiffServ) architecture for the provisioning of Quality-of-Service (QoS) of network-based applications. Analytical modelling and performance evaluation of priority queuing systems have received significant attention and research efforts.
