A rare nonfatal presentation of disseminated Chromobacterium violaceum sepsis

We present a case of disseminated Chromobacterium violaceum sepsis with multiple liver and splenic abscesses presenting with skin lesions and cardiogenic shock, and later diagnosed to have chronic granulomatous disease.
