AbstractIn this letter, a new sufficient delay-dependent exponential stability condition for a class of neutral delayed differential equations: ddt[x(t)+px(t−τ(t))]+ax(t)−btanhx(t−σ(t))=0, is given in terms of the linear matrix inequality (LMI). Our delay-dependent condition obtained here is shown to be less conservative than some existing results via three illustrative examples
