AbstractPhase change materials (PCM), being able to supply dynamic thermal capacity, have ever shown great potentialities in lightweight constructions. Following a first study on the integration of PCM in lightweight solar walls, this paper aims to explore the integration of PCMs in walls and partitions, carrying out a multi-parametric study.A test room, representing a naturally conditioned typical office, has been simulated in EnergyPlus. PCM have been modelled as integrated either in indoor partitions or in external walls.
