AbstractAccording to statistics, almost 50% of the patients with stroke have difficulties in performing tasks of daily living, hence the importance of functional rehabilitation. This paper aims at providing clinical evidence to support the improvement of balance in hemiparetic stroke patients through an assisted functional rehabilitation program. The 4 weeks experiment was performed in Bucharest, in the Department of Physical Rehabilitation of Ilfov Emergency County Hospital, on a group of 5 subjects diagnosed with ischemic stroke. The results confirmed an improvement in the postural stability of the hemiparetic patients through the use of our functional rehabilitation strategies
