AbstractWe present an algorithm for the multiinput pole assignment problem. This algorithm is based on basic linear operations such as matrix-vector multiplications, resolution of upper triangular systems of smaller sizes than the original problem, and resolution of systems with multiple right hand sides, for which efficient and parallel algorithms have been developed. Furthermore, those independent systems can be computed in parallel. The accuracy of the algorithm has been checked on some numerical examples
