The bufadienolide content of plant material derived from tissue culture of Drimia robusta Bak was determined by spectrophotometry Bufadienolides were present in callus, and in three-, six- and ten-month-old ex vitro plants. Qualitative TLC analysis showed that the tissue culture derived plants contained the same bufadienolides as did the mother plant
