Cementbundna träkompositer som strukturella element i innerväggar

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the possibilities concerning the usa-bility of cement-bonded wood composites in wall design with the aim to improve the building scene from an economical and ecological perspective; also a certain thought is to be given to social sustainability. Furthermore this work will suite well for further research.In this work a research has been carried out focusing on the composites as wall elements. The elements mainly refer to quadratic boards. The development from first composite until today’s products has been studied. A market survey on today’s demand with focus on the products properties and prices has been done. Based on theory and research a proposal for a wall design with these elements has been carried out and tested through theoretical assumptions and calculations in addition an elaboration has been made. Since the manufacturing of the first composites started 1920 the development with consideration of the user area and the dimensions has not evolved much, there has rather occurred development on a chemical level where it has shown improved properties as increased structural strength, lower density and the use of wood that has been obtained through optimization of the setting methods as well as treatment methods and the dimensions of the wooden fibres. Higher wood content has shown to be more profitable through many perspectives.The theoretically designed wall shows that significant savings could be made, both economical and ecological due to the amount of material can be reduced as a result of an optimization of the load bearing core.Validerat; 20110920 (anonymous
