The Angooran Lead & Zinc Mine located in Zanjan province-Iran is the greatest one of its kind in Middle East. At present, a part of ore body located within host rock mineralized schist is not planned for milling project design. In the present study, the mineral processing possibility of mineralized schist deposit within Angooran Lead & Zinc Ore deposit was investigated. The ore microscopy studies were carried out to determine the mineral content of the ore deposit. The natural breakage and grindability were studied to determine the behavior of the desired ore during several stage breakages.
