The main purpose of this study was to get a deeper knowledge of the role of content marketing in building company branding and business. Further, the aim was to find out how content marketing performance can be measured and how content marketing actions can affect sales. Because the thesis is conducted in co-operation with Company X, one of the objectives was to create content marketing strategy and give clear quidelines to the case company based to the earlier theory and the inquiry.
