Metallic glasses based on systems Al-Ni-Yb were investigated. Samples were obtained by melting on a spinning copper wheel. It was found that Ca addition has positive effect on parameters of investigated alloy: increase microhardness (HV), activation energy of crystallization (Ea) and glass forming ability (GFA), decrease enthalpy of mixing ΔHmix. Cu addition has a small effect on HV, Ea, increase ΔHmix and decrease GFA.
