This study describes the morphology and ultrastructure of the digestive system of the spider crab, from the stage of zoea I to adult, using optical and electronic microscopy. The morphology of the organs is similar from the first zoeal stage to the juvenile stage, only the stomach show a drastic change during the metamorphosis to megalopa.
