Explaining Suicide: Patterns, Motivations, and What Notes Reveal discusses top motivations for suicide, how they differ between note leavers and non-note leavers, and how we can use the information to create better prevention tactics. As 15% to 40% of suicides leave suicide notes, a valuable clue to help unlock the motivation of the suicidal person, they are an integral tool for study.
