The background of this research is focused on the students’ reading comprehension on narrative text. This thesis based on phenomena which happen in school, there were students hard to guess and predict the meaning because of the limitation of vocabulary. Students have difficulty in understanding English word, phrase, and sentence in English, and finding the main idea of the text. Teacher uses conventional method and students usually study individually.
