PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM BAGI WARIA DALAM BERMASYARAKAT

This thesis is entitled “law protection for transsexuals in socializing” . The high rate of transsexuals discrimination causes the effort of transsexuals in socializing is short of expectation. This research aimed to know how the law protects the transsexuals in socializing, especially when they associate, assembly, and remark their opinions. This research was normative law research which focused on the positive law norm and another regulation that bounded to the implementation of socializing for associating, assembling, and remarking the opinions. They were considered as the primary and the secondary data. This research used qualitative method to Itidentified the regulation of its law. Based on the analysis, the researcher found that the law’s protection for the transsexuals in the society was still low. In contrast with the Law Regulation that regulated and protected each citizenin socializing to associate, assembly, and remark their opinions, the Indonesian transsexuals had no absolute law that regulated to protect the transsexuals as it could the embodiment ofthe associated Indonesia
