Educology, pedagogy, and teaching methods of the literary education

With the introduction of the word curriculum in the educational practice dictionary, the word educology is also introduced as ’replacement’ of some past introduced words which function as dominants in our educational sciences. Curriculum origins from USA, or more precisely from the Anglo-Saxon world where the educology starts to develop as a science of the educational systems of the knowledge in the education in the second half of the 20th century. Unlike the pedagogy, the educology refer to the education as open system which is researched by help of the theories of the systems and in that way it connects the knowledge of educational psychology, philosophy, sociology, economics, anthropology and other sciences which research the education in terms of interdisciplinary science, while the pedagogy developed as a monodisciplinary science refers to the school teaching and tutoring. The educological concept of the educational sciences unlike the pedagogical one enables constant development of the areas of the teaching methods interest which is considered as scientific insight into the educational practice of the teaching subject. Educology enables that with its interdisciplinary structure where beside scientific, normative and analytical educology there also exist practice educology which is an area of practical theories, knowledge, skills and competences
