There is an increasing morbidity rate of cervical cancer in both Lithuania and in the world. Cervical cancer takes the fourth place according to frequency between oncological diseases among men and women. Cervical conizationis a procedure, during which cervical solidity is exposed; it is being used in order to suspend the development of invasive cancer for patients with premalignant alterations, as well as in early stages of invasive cancer. This type of intervention may have negative impact on upcoming pregnancies and deliveries.
