Objectives. To evaluate student‘s knowledge and attitude on genetically modified food. To compare students knowledge and attitude according profile of universities. The questionnaire was distributed at Faculty of Public Health of Kaunas University of Medicine and Faculty of Informatics of Kaunas University of Technology. Materials and methods. Students of Public health and Informatics faculties were interviewed by anonymous questionnaire. Analysis of student’s knowledge and attitude was performed taking into account some general topics. The topics were: use of GMO and GMF in food industry and agriculture, positive or negative attitude to growing of GMO in Lithuania, marking of GMF, use GMF in our everyday life.
