The aim of this study was to analyse the data about diabetic dogs, clinical signs of their disease, concurrent diseases, applied diagnostic tests, treatment strategies and their effectiveness, disease outcome, and to compare the results with the findings of the foreign scientists. The data were collected during 2005–2014 years at Dr. L. Kriauceliunas small animal veterinary clinic of the Veterinary academy, Lithuanian university of health sciences. 60 dogs were diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, and morbidity of 0,26% was calculated (95% CI 0,19–0,33).
