Canine mammary gland tumors growth peculiarity on chicken chorioallantoic membrane

Chicken chorioallantoic membrane model is suitable to study various pathological processes. This Master‘s Thesis analyzes three types of canine mammary gland tumors: carcinoma-complex type, adenocarcinoma and intratubular adenocarcinoma-complex type tumor, the influence to chick chorioallantoic membrane after tumor transplantation. In this Master‘s Thesis we used histological analysis, membrane changes assessed by staining hematoxylin-eosin, and immunohistochemical markers. Analysis of the thickness of the membrane, the membrane epithelial thickness variations and changes in the number of blood vessels were made. The results showed that transplanted tumor causes membrane and epithelium reaction. Statistical significant changes were set, when counting number of blood vessels, epithelium thickness variation and thickness of the membrane, All structures made statistical significant changes when tumor was transplanted on the CAM
