I was interested in what risk factors influenced dogs’ morbidity in cataract, as cataract is one of the main reasons of blindness for dogs. According to this, the aim and objectives of the work were formed. The main aim of the work is to analyze the prevalence of cataract among dogs and the influence of some risk factors on certain species. The objectives of the work: 1. To collect and generalize literary data on the topic of the work. 2. To analyze dogs’ tendency for cataract manifestation. 3. To determine cataract manifestation according to species, gender and age. 4. To ascertain the influence of inborn and acquired factors on cataract manifestation. 5.
