The Occupational Therapy effect of patients with hand finger tendon operation for hand functions and self-support repair

The aim of the research is to evaluate effect of Occupational Therapy for patients with hand finger tendon operation for hand functions and self-support repair. The tasks are: define disorder of hand function; define daily living activity disorder of patients with hand finger tendon operation; to evaluate patients with hand finger tendon operation the Occupational Therapy effect for hand functions and self-support repair. To evaluate the hand function was measured hand power with dynamometer (bei kilogrammes) and finger grip power with manometer (bei kilogrammes), before the Occupational Therapy and after the Occupational Therapy. To evaluate the hand joints motion amplitude before the Occupational Therapy and after the Occupational Therapy was used goniometer (bei degrees). To evaluate the pain the before Occupational Therapy and after the Occupational Therapy was used Wong-Baker faces pain rating scale. To evaluate daily activities it was used the ADL (activities daily living) test. The research was carried in the public office Kaunas in the clinic Dainava, the department of physical medical and rehabilitation’s. In all in the research attend 33 people, they were divided into 2 groups: first – the patients with extensor tendon injuries (17 patients), and second – the patients with Dupuytren’s contracture (16 patients). The conclusions of the research: 1. We define that patients with hand finger tendon operation significantly decreases hand and grip power, the hand finger joints motion amplitude. 2. Assess the independence of the respondents to the ADL test daily activities find that best was dysfunctional nourishment, housework and independence to take a shower and a bath, also to disarray ability to use toilet, dressing, grooming and to do the cooking. 3. The data have showed that used the Occupational Therapy statistically valid (p
