assesment of burnout syndrome influencing factors among doctors providing medical care

The aim of research – to identify and analyse the main factors that determine the occurance of burnout syndrome among doctors providing medical care. Tasks of research: 1. Based on the analysis of scientific literature to analyze the concept of burnout syndrome, symptoms, burnout syndrome determinants and measures of burnout syndrome prevention; 2. To analyze characteristics of the surveyed doctors; 3. Perform a correlation ratio analysis and to investigate the factors that most influence burnout syndrome of Vilkaviškis, Marijampolė, Šakiai hospital doctors; 4. To analyze the burnout syndrome and its influencing factors among surveyed doctors. Research methods. To conduct a survey and to collect data quantitative analysis written survey method was used. For the research data analysis percentage frequency tables and graphs, descriptive characteristics of statistical methods, distributions normality using Shapiro Wilko criterion and Spearman rank correlation analysis were used. Participants of research. The survey participants are Vilkaviškis, Marijampolės, Šakiai hospital doctors. The total sample of 40 doctors from each medical institution. Thus, the study sample size n = 120. Research results. The study found that there is a statistically significant relationship between burnout syndrome and the factors affecting it: control (-0.304), rewards (-0.294), justice (-0.268) and values (-0.506). So the doctors who can have more control over their work, are satisfied with the salary, justice and values in organization tend to encounter burnout syndrome among doctors less. Conclusions. It was that control, justice, values and reward influence professional burnout syndrome of Vilkaviškis, Marijampolė, Šakiai hospital employed doctors, who participated in the study. It was also found that the burnout syndrome of doctors involved in the study is average: doctors are emotionally exhausted, not all doctors feel successful and competent when working with people
